Christmas is round the corner and it’s time to pamper myself with a gift. (It is more realistic this way, especially since my chimney is too small for Santa to slide down which he never does anyway) And I’ve been eyeing on the latest Sony Playstation Portable.
My Dream Catch this Christmas
I’m not much of a gamer, but the PSP is such a great gadget to have for me to pass my time on the long train rides that I have to take every day. Not only I will be able to play games on the device, I would also be able to listen to great music or watch my favorite show (Read: HEROES) on the go!
But now, I’m caught in a little dilemma. Should I be getting the new PSP 3000 or should I settle for a cheaper PSP 2000. Here’s an abstract of news form CNET:
“It’s an evolutionary step up from last year’s PSP 2000, with a slightly improved screen (better color reproduction, slightly less glare), a built-in microphone (Skype users can now use regular headphones instead of a special headset), and improved video-out support (games can now be displayed on non-HD TVs). Otherwise, it’s pretty much the same ol’ PSP–which we’ve always liked.
In other words, it’s not a must-have upgrade (unless you’re dying for one of those above-mentioned upgrades), but anyone new to the platform will be getting the best PSP to date.”
Now, you see, who doesn’t want the latest version of PSP but at the same time, I wouldn’t want to spend too much (Thanks to recession) on an “upgrade” that’s only a slight enhancement for the older version.
Guess I will be better off if I start writing that wish list to Santa and let him make that decision for me.
