Happy New Year people! Ok. I know my greetings came 5 days late. But as the saying goes, it’s better late than never. Well, I guess by now, all of you would have already come up with New Year’s resolution and some are already struggling to keep up with resolution (I know I am).
So, one way to ensure that you will stick to your resolution is to post them on blogs and make sure that you’ll be reminded of them every single day and let others remind you of your resolution. And here goes my list of resolution for the year 2009.
To improve my cooking skills. Not that anyone is complaining about the food I cook (who dares!?), but I would really like to learn a few new cuisine (Post opening for guinea pigs). I love cooking and inspired by Jamie Oliver, the celebrity chef, I decide to learn some of those finger licking dishes that he make so effortlessly on TV. Check out his online recipe, make some order, drop me a line, and I’ll do the cooking and you do the washing.

10 Piece Cooking Ware
But before I can make any of those great looking (hopefully tasting as good as it looks) fares, I would need to stock up on my cooking apparatus (Calling for sponsors). Armed with a single pot and a 8 inch frying pan, which is only good for making a single sunny side up, is no way I am going to start my new restaurant. And to save my sponsors (if there is even one willing) the trouble of finding the cooking apparatus, I have did some homework of my own and here is a great site that offers a wide variety of kitchen wares, ranging from sauce pans to pressure cooker. Now, a wok will do nicely or a 10 piece cookware set will also fit in snugly into my kitchen.
As you can see, it is not easy for me to get started on my resolution. It is not that I am too lazy to do so. But with so many obstacles on my way, it will really require a mammoth effort to get things going. And I am just getting started on my FIRST resolution.
Please, don’t get me started on my SECOND resolution about trying to lose that extra pound that I gain over the festive period and how little I have been utilizing my new running shoes since I got them and of cause, trying to lose weight will definitely clash with my FIRST resolution of learning new cuisine!
The running shoe that have only been used once
Now you know why I am struggling don’t you?
