One of the New Year resolution is to go outdoors more often and I believe this is the only one resolution I’ve been able to follow since the start of the year. It does not take much effort and a walk into the woods brings me closer to nature and helps me relax a great deal. I also managed to capture some great shots which I shall share with you in the future.
The 150 bucks Levi jeans
Although I have been enjoying myself during those short walks, I’ve also been subjected to insect bites and some small cuts, no thanks to the thorns
of certain plants. To protect myself against such abuses (Yes, insect bites and small cuts are considered abuse if you live in the city since forever), I decided to get myself a pair of jeans that is durable enough to withstand those thorns and yet light and breathable so I would not start to sweat inside.
As I rampage through my wardrobe, I could only find 2 pairs of jeans. One pair of Levi jeans and another that’s already way too tight for me and had found its new home in the Salvation Army. Naturally, I am not going to use my 150bucks Levi jeans for my little adventure into the woods.
So, I decided to do some sourcing to see if there’s any nice (yes, I must look good while trekking in the woods), cheap and durable jeans online. cross my mind as a requirement when I first source for my jeans. And that is abrasion resistance! I certainly don’t want to have abrasion halfway through my walk and have to take off my jeans and walk the way back home in my spongebox squarepants boxes (of cause I don’t wear them. ) and become the laughing stock of the whole town. Now, why didn’t I thought of that.
